In the recently published 2022 Auction.com Buyer Insights Report, buyers revealed whether they prefer in-person auctions or online auctions more.
“Fifty-six percent of all buyers ranked online auctions or remote bid auctions as their top acquisition method,” said Daren Blomquist, Auction.com VP of Market Economics. “The preference for buying online or remotely was even stronger for small buyers, those who buy 10 or fewer purchases per year.”
