In 2020, about 80% of bank-owned properties bought on the Auction.com platform were purchased from investors who resided in the same state as the property.

“I buy and sell properties like I was going to go ahead and live in them, or a family member was going to live in them,” said Chicago-based real estate investor Michael Hallman. “So, we don’t really cut any corners. We go ahead and we make sure everything is done.”
