The 2022 Auction.com Buyer Insights Report reveals that institutional buyers take a back seat to local community developers when it comes to using the Auction.com platform.
“Most Auction.com buyers are either local community developers or owner-occupant buyers purchasing 10 or fewer properties a year,” said Daren Blomquist, Auction.com VP of Market Economics. “This latest survey data shows that most auction buyers are local community developers who resell renovated homes to owner-occupants.”
The survey revealed that only 5 percent of respondents identified as institutional investors.
