Auction.com is proud to announce that Darcy Chapman, Auction.com VP of Business Development and Sales, is the winner of the 2022 Five Star Women in Housing Corporate Responsibility Award.
The Corporate Responsibility Award recognizes women executives who are driving charitable initiatives and helping our industry make a positive difference.
“It’s a tremendous honor to be recognized in the category of Corporate Social Responsibility by Five Star and my colleagues,” said Chapman. “I would be remiss if I did not mention all the others at Auction.com who share a passion for helping others and working to make a difference. We are fortunate to work for a company that empowers us to give back in such a meaningful way.”
Chapman has been active in corporate responsibility most of her career. In a recent fundraising campaign for Feeding America, she was the highest fundraiser. She was motivated by being a former foster mom and aware of the harmful effects of food insecurity.
Auction.com is a proud supporter of the Veterans Financial Services Advisory Council (VFSAC), which partners with Operation Homefront to address the ongoing needs of veterans and their families related to housing and critical services. Chapman has been at the forefront of Auction.com’s involvement with this initiative, working tirelessly to help raise more than $500,000 over the last two years.
She and her husband also support a local Dallas charity, Lil’ Warriors Foundation. This non-profit partners with communities to provide financial assistance for families with children battling critical medical challenges. Chapman supports the foundation financially and by volunteering her time.
She also belongs to the Auction.com’s Inclusion, Diversity, Engagement, and Awareness (IDEA) Council and has been a Veterans Financial Services Advisory Council (VFSAC) member for two years.
