How Are Foreclosure Buyers Helping to Stabilize Neighborhoods During the Pandemic?

Foreclosure auctions started to return slowly in June, and so far, three stats are showing increased buyer demand for vacant and abandoned properties.

“Price execution at foreclosure auction also spiked to an 83-month high in June,” said Daren Blomquist, Auction.com VP of Market Economics. “Foreclosure auction properties sold for 119 percent of the seller’s credit bid on average. That was up from the previous month, up from a year ago, and the highest level since July 2013.”
