Many Foreclosure Auction Buyers are Now Purchasing via Online REO Auction
After analyzing the data of 165,000 properties brought to foreclosure auction since 2018, Auction.com says that home selling at foreclosure auction is an effective strategy for stabilizing neighborhoods.
And it’s not just the type of auction that is helping to stabilize neighborhoods.
“To further promote neighborhood stabilization during the COVID-19 pandemic, all Auction.com buyers of occupied properties are required to sign a Community Stabilization Pledge,” said Auction.com VP of Market Economics Daren Blomquist. “The pledge asks buyers to abide by the national eviction moratorium.”
