Congratulations to Auction.com’s Jesse Roth for his recent promotion to executive vice president of business development.
As part of a reorganization, Roth will now oversee the full business development team, as well as client management, analytics, and market economics.
“I am excited for the opportunity to grow our marketplace and client base, while leveraging our marketplace position to continue offering next-level solutions for buyers, sellers, and neighborhoods,” Roth said.
Roth was working for a major bank when he became familiar with Auction.com. He said he was amazed by the power of the Auction.com platform and seeing how the effect of a truly transparent and efficient marketplace yields more sales and higher final prices.
“When I started at Auction.com, we had a handful of clients, and we were predominantly an outlet for clients to auction aged REO properties,” he said. “Since then, we have expanded our client base to more than 50 clients, as well as our product offerings to sell properties much earlier in the process through foreclosure sales and Day 1 REO, and even pre-foreclosure sales.”
Previously, Roth was responsible for managing the nation’s largest banks and GSEs, with specific focus on identifying target opportunities for increased revenue and ensuring performance met expectations. Roth also implemented several new foreclosure and REO sale programs across multiple investors and loan types to assist clients with optimizing portfolio dispositions and maximizing returns for investors.
When not running Auction.com’s business development, Roth and his wife of almost 21 years enjoy traveling, cooking, and eating excellent food. The couple, who have three children, are active in several ministries in their church, trying to make the world a better place, one relationship at a time.
