Demand for occupied properties on the Auction.com platform has bounced back strongly following a brief pullback in April 2020.
“More than half of all occupied property buyers offer current occupants the option to stay in the home through a leaseback or buyback arrangement,” said Daren Blomquist, Auction.com VP of Market Economics. “That’s according to an Auction.com buyer survey conducted in February this year 2021. The percentage is even higher — 72 percent — for buyers who primarily employ a hold-for-rent investing strategy.”
