Direct Buyer-Seller Interaction Spurs Sales at Auction Event

Auction.com's November Live Bid Update

Auction.com held its latest on-site Live Bid Interact event in Dallas on November 2. With results including approximately $24 million in assets sold in under five hours and an average asset selling price at 105% of reserve, buyer-seller interaction has proven again to be a game changer.

Sellers gathered onsite to make real-time decisions about their assets as the online bidding came to a close. Real-time decision-making helped sellers and buyers to find common ground in pricing and move many assets in a short period of time.

Soon, this unprecedented level of interaction between buyers and sellers during online auctions will be possible from home, office or anywhere you have Internet access.

Introducing the Game Changer: the Bid Interact™ Tool

Auction.com’s next industry innovation is its Bid InteractTM tool, part of the Auction Interact suite of services. The Bid Interact tool will let buyers and sellers interact directly during online bidding.

“When buyers and sellers can work together to sell properties, they can exchange important information and negotiate,” said Ali Haralson, Auction.com’s Chief Business development Officer. “And this can lead to better execution.”

This evolution has begun, and Auction.com’s latest tools are leading the transformation of the disposition industry. For more information, contact your client manager or read our latest article in Housingwire, Transforming the Auction.com Platform.
