At the United We Stand event in Dallas on September 28, 2023, Ali Haralson, President of Auction.com and the 2022 recipient of Operation Homefront’s Cornerstone Award, presented Operation Homefront President and CEO John Pray, Brig Gen USAF Retired, with a second check this year for $50,000. In total, Auction.com has donated over $1 million to Operation Homefront in support of military families nationwide.
The event is in support of Operation Homefront’s $100 million campaign (United We Stand) to generate resources that will allow it to secure the futures of military families for years to come. Along with the check presentation, the Veterans Financial Service Advisory Council (VFSAC) was recognized for recently providing funding to purchase a newly built home for Operation Homefront’s Permanent Homes for Veterans program. The new home went to the Ehi family, who shared their story at the event.
VFSAC represents leaders in housing, banking, finance, and mortgage industries committed to addressing the needs of veterans and military families. Haralson serves as VFSAC Vice-Chair and is a member of VFSAC’s Executive Council.
