Auction.com is excited to announce that industry veteran Aaron Moody has joined Auction.com as its Vice President of Online Operations.
Moody will be responsible for the strategic leadership and implementation of the company’s online operations. This includes bringing well-represented bank-owned distressed properties to market and facilitating the contracting and closing of properties.
“We are excited to have Aaron take on this leadership role,” said Ingrid Jaschok, Executive Vice President of Online Operations. “His vast industry experience will be invaluable to his leading his teams’ strategic efforts.”
Moody said, “I’m excited to get to know my team, ingrain myself in the culture, and immerse myself in the day-to-day operations to make sure we exceed our clients’ goals,” he said.
Before working at Auction.com, Moody was the Vice President of Real Estate Services for Xome and Vice President of Loss Mitigation for REDC Default Solutions. He’s been in the distressed industry for about 15 years.
In 2017, Aaron received the prestigious HousingWire Rising Star Award. According to HW, “Moody’s leadership contribution drove impressive operational efficiency objectives for REO inventory turn-rate, contract closing efficiency, downstream vendor performance and revenue, and EBITDA success for the company.”
Moody came to work for Auction.com because he wanted to help change the industry.

When not working, Aaron and his wife enjoy raising their son, 14, and daughter, 11, who are both busy with sports. Aaron is a native Texan, and a lifelong Cowboys, Rangers, and Mavericks fan.
