When you’re looking for your next investment home, it all comes down to a better search experience. We’re happy to announce a host of new updates to the Auction.com App that significantly upgrades your process of searching for foreclosure and bank-owned homes.
Here’s what’s new:
All-New Properties List View
Browsing properties in list view is now cleaner and more streamlined. Property images are displayed more prominently, and key information about the listings is still easily visible. This offers a quicker, more intuitive browsing experience for foreclosure and bank-owned home buyers who want to quickly scan property photos and quick listing information first then deep-dive into more property details later.
Updated Properties Map View
When searching in the map view, users will notice several improvements. Filter options have been moved to the bottom to keep the search experience better as investors can hone in on local areas for properties. Saving a search is also right next to Filters which can be very helpful if investors are looking at different categories of properties, locations, etc. A newly designed property details card appears at the bottom of the map screen when the user taps a pin, offering fast access to a high-level overview of the property.
The pin design has also been refreshed. The smaller pin design allows you to see more properties for sale, without the screen feeling crowded. Zooming in and out with the map view is cleaner, more intuitive, and more informative. Lastly, the pins have been color-coded to prominently show which properties are bank-owned (blue) and which are foreclosures (green), allowing investors to focus on just the opportunities they are looking for.
Better Browsing of Upcoming Foreclosure Auctions in List and Map View
For investors interested in foreclosure properties, searching both upcoming foreclosure auction events and seeing the individual properties coming up for sale can happen with the Foreclosure Auctions toggle.
Map view displays the location of foreclosure auctions that are coming up in the next 30 days. We’ve streamlined this browsing experience, allowing users to go from auction detail to property detail with a tap. Finally, if two auctions are scheduled in an area during a given time frame, you can swipe to easily cycle through them.
Lastly, users now have the option to filter for auction events that include Remote Bid so that they have an additional way of purchasing properties. With Remote Bid, users can bid on and buy properties at foreclosure auctions from the comfort of their own home right from within the app. App users browsing foreclosures in numerous markets across the country can now enjoy this exclusive Auction.com feature.
